what do you believe happens when a person dies?

au where person A falls for person B, but person B doesn't return the feelings. they're friends for years and person A keeps their feelings a secret due to their friendship. a turn of events lead them to a dangerous situation and they're being held at gun point. person B is about to get shot but person A steps in front. the police arrive, the man is taken in and person A is brought to the hospital, only to die on the ride there from loss of blood.
