I have a huge appreciation and fondness for the music of this decade (the decade in which I was born). Like the movies of this era, there was a stripping away of the phoniness. Musical lyrics and sounds became much more diverse and thought-provoking. These are my favorite 100 tracks from the seventies (I limited myself to two songs per artist).
