This is a playlist dedicated to the many tales of Frankie and Johnny (or Albert or Allen). Sometimes there's a moral, sometimes there's not; sometimes Frankie feels guilty and sometimes she doesn't; sometimes Johnny is named Albert or Allen; and sometimes Frankie is a man. They even get a happy ending in one version!

It starts out with older versions, and the later tracks are modern versions with different lyrics and forms. I've tried to include as many unique versions as possible, with different lyrics and styles, so that no two tracks sound the same. Have fun, and maybe discover some new artists.
