Beginning on 25 January 2011, citizens of Egypt came together to overthrow their president at the time, Hosni Mubarak. They fought for freedom of speech, police brutality, corruption, high unemployment, inflation, and low-wages. At least 846 people were killed and over 6,000 were injured.
