Those choices,
Those friends
Those goodbyes,
And 'the ends.'
That breakup,
Those tears,
Those cold-hearted words;
You stabbed in your fear.
That message you sent
That cold shoulder you turned
The pain of the past
And innocence burned.
Remembering hurts
And so does your fear
But life is not
All that it may appear
There's something more
Than being alone
Than finding yourself
Turning into a stone
Remember the joy
And the people who give
Despite their pain
And live just to live
Be one of those
and inspire the rest
to live just to live
But also to give.
