I appreciate that you didn't just go for the typical lovey dovey songs that this card might suggest to some other people. It shows a deep understanding of the themes The Lover represent. Although, man, wow, so many kind of negative songs for what I always believed to be a pretty positive card. For instance, I feel like My Body's a Zombie for You by Dead Man's Bones would be better suited for The Devil card. That song seems to represent a kind of obsessive love, one that you can't turn away from no matter the cost and you're just a zombie to that love. Overall though, I did like your song choices here. I've never heard that remix of Sarah McLachlan's Fumbling Toward Ecstasy and I'm a fan of hers so that was rather delightful. I also enjoyed the Evelyn, Evelyn song because I had no idea Amanda Palmer was involved in a new band/project. Great musical feel throughout. Good stuff!
