You did a great job once again! Have you heard of a book called "Really the blues" by jazz clarinetist Mezz Mezzrow? I bought it last week, and I haven't read it yet, but it looks like a great depiction of the prohibition years in different cities, from the point of view of a white jazzman who led a very unruly life. Oh, and Henry Miller wrote the foreword!
