The outside world had somehow become far more beautiful after the infected took control. After 17 years of being untouched by humans, nature took the world back. The only thing I wanted more than anything in the world was to breathe in fresh air outside The Wall. Getting out of the city happens in one of two ways. Either you find yourself thrown out by the military, or you use the (not so secret) tunnels. Spending ten minutes navigating those tunnels was worth what I saw on the outside.
