Benjamin Ringel, born on April 12, 1953 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and began to play the guitar at a quite early age. At the age of 16 Benjamin Ringel replaced Barry Rowed as the lead guitarist for the rock band called “Sunny Streets”. After opening for several rock bands in the late 60s, the band finally signed a recording contract with a major label, and released their first single in 1970. Their album was released in 1972 and after that Benjamin Ringel left the bend and began his solo career. Benjamin Ringel continued with his hard rock sound for several more years before releasing “Born with Blues” in 1991 and returned to his blues based roots.
