Clary Fray has lived her life with her overprotective mother constantly hovering. When Clary sees something happen that she shouldn't have been able to see, her life is about to change completely. Dragged into the world of demons, vampires, faeries, werewolves, and Shadowhunters when Clary's mother disappears, Clary begins her quest to save her mother and uncovers secrets about herself and her family she never knew could be possible.
