this started as a mix of some of my instrumental tracks from horror & horror adjacent films, but quickly became non-synth tracks only (those will get their own mix). there's also a lot of horror movie music i love & chose not to include because they didn't have a dark haunt or spook to them, or something in the track to designate the kind of film it comes from. i wanted to keep everything, at least on some level, feeling like the season. i love this mix more than most i've made. the films range from Re-Animator to Torso to Ravenous
