Notes
This is the second of four playlists dedicated to my hometown's radio stations during my youth. WKMF was the radio station of choice for my dad and several of my aunts and uncles. Therefore it had a fairly large presense in my youth. It wasn't one I appreciated until I got a little older. During the latter part of the seventies the FM Country Station from Saginaw, WKCQ, began to eat at WKMF's ratings and they changed call letters and format sometime in the early 80's. The cover model is the fetching singer Bobbie Gentry who is featured early in the mix.

I love that this playlist is based on a radio station from your childhood. There is nothing like the simple story telling of early country songs. I've recently discovered Bobbie Gentry. I can't get enough!
