So he goes to battle. For the story. For the truth. He charges towards the bullet, believing he can take the fall (Freddie Lyon is reckless), believing things will be all right. He throws his barbs and they throw a punch. He aims for the heart, they aim for the body.

Based around Freddie’s journey in the finale of Series Two, this is Freddie as the glorious hero and Freddie as the glorious tragedy (As Abi Morgan, the wonderful head writer and creator, so beautifully described him).
