Lovelorn 2000s-2010s jazzy, funky & mopy adult contemporary tracks with periodic trip-hop leanings. Soft sad female vocals dominate the first half, then it gets increasingly masculine & thrashy. It's really just perfect if you were dating an emo hipster jazz musician who dabbles in top 100 tracks between Richard Feynman books. His music is probably too poppy for your taste, but at least listening to this is like having him around saying vaguely poetic and melodramatic things all while wearing that stupid sweater his revoltingly, feebleminded mainstream ex-girlfriend got him. Or like all the times you tried to made salads together but his parents would visit and bring a bunch of junk food. Anyway, cry it out. Now you can do you.
