PerkinsWood (2004 – present) is American recording artists and composers, Jeff Perkins and Ann Wood, who record and perform instrumental electric guitar music in Atlanta, Georgia. Film scores include the 2013 documentary feature, Heart of the King
directed by Shane Stuart and Andrew Lankes. Albums include: Keys to the Circus (currently in production), Roll (2007), Son of Sparkle (2005), and Guitar Island (2004). All albums were engineered by Jeff Perkins using analogue reel to reel tape except the current release, which is digitally recorded.

Perkins and Wood began collaborating in Hypedelic (1988-1989), and Dew (1991-1997). Dew was acclaimed as Atlanta’s premier instrumental rock band by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Dew appeared on the Sister Ruby Records releases: Christmas Presents Vol. II -- “We Three Kings” (1993); four songs on Amplified Vol. I (1994); and full length album, Sing Monkey Sing (1996). Dew recorded the “Overture” for (1995) Jesus Christ Superstar a Resurrection on Daemon Records and performed with Atlanta artists Indigo Girls,
Shawn Mullins, Benjamin Smoke and Five Eight.

I Feel Funny, an album of Dew B-sides is currently in post-production with Kramer. The album features a cover of the 1975 Ted Nugent song Stranglehold with Amy Ray as guest vocalist.

Perkins and Wood began playing and writing music in mid-80’s Athens/ Atlanta, GA and Columbia, MO respectively. Wood’s early bands include: the Art Sluts (1984-85) and Holidays and Famous Dead People (1987). Perkins’ early bands include Big Wall of Shit (1986) and Big Wall of Fish -- an early incarnation of Big Fish Ensemble.
