This is a mix for a recently departed friend. It's also for everyone. I'm sure Shawn would dig it and hopefully, some of you will too. A friend, a brother, an uncle, the list goes on.. The man was a kind soul with so much more life to live. The music here is a gumbo of what the Shawn that I knew loved: industrial, coldwave, post-punk, avant-garde and even a pinch of jazz. Shawn and I had talked about going to Dallas to see Peter Hook & the Light (ex-Joy Division/New Order bassist) last November but we fell out of touch and messages went unanswered. This would have likely been our "road trip mix".
Farewell friend. You are missed by so, so many.
