Marky began his DJ career back in the early 80's after being introduced to the soul music scene by his elder brother Aja. In 2003, Marky founded Jazz Syndicate Radio (JSR), an internet radio station specializing in jazz and soul, and ran this until March 2008 when he joined Starpoint Radio.
Marky continues to work as a club DJ through the UK and Europe, something he has done since the 80's when playing to the American servicemen serving in Germany. He has now branched out into the promotion of artists and bands as well as setting up his own Soul Weekenders and club nights. Highlights over the years have been working with the Fatback Band, George Duke, Candi Staton, Leon Ware, Tim Dillinger, James Day just to mention few!
Join Marky every Saturday 5pm gmt for the " Jazz60 and last Monday of the month, 21:00 - 23:00 gmt for the Soul Power show.
