The Ruhr area region was, musically speaking, partially influenced by the industrial sound of the neighboring Düsseldorf scene, developing however a more spacey progressive style. Artists are selected from the Dortmund-Essen conurbation, including the towns of Oberhausen, Gelsenkirchen, Bochum, Witten, and Hagen.
