Since my recent 52nd birthday I've been spending quite a lot of time reflecting on my past life as a part time punk and rude boy. If truth be told the label which kind of started it all for me was Stiff Records, so I figured 40 years down the road is probably as good a time as any to pay them due props by compiling a dozen of my favourite singles from the label's heyday 1977-80.
