In the Netherlands, the 4th of May is Remembrance Day (Nationale Dodenherdenking). The 5th of May is Liberation Day (Bevrijdingsdag).
In order to celebrate our freedom and remember those who have fallen, here is a short little mix of 8 Dutch war songs. All of them date from the years between 1940-1945 except the first song, which is from World War I.
