- the hotel looked mysteriously empty with people's luggage still on the trolleys, plates and silverware perfectly set up, all the lights on and elevator music playing old doo-wops. no one has logged in the guest book for decades. why would a twenty year old boy with emeralds for eyes be the caretaker of it?
