In Lyndon, they call me Sterling. When the scouting party found me outside the walls, skin blistered and lungs more full of sand than air, I couldn't remember a thing. That single word was stamped into the back of a medallion around my neck, the figure on the front too worn to make out. It's not who I am, but this is who I was.
