This is a playlist inspired by the character of Anna in Jonathan Glazer's 2004 masterpiece, "Birth," a defining film in my life and one that I cannot get out of my system. Anna is a woman who is visited by a 10-year-old boy who claims to be the reincarnation of her dead husband. This news upends her life and sends her into a tailspin that she struggles to escape, just as she struggles with her all-consuming grief. Watch the film if you can, and then listen to the mix.
