Characters from the Lord of the Rings: Lord Elrond, brother of Elros, and son of Elwing and Eärendil. His life is a difficult one, losing both of his parents when he was young, choosing to be one of the Firstborn whereas his twin chooses to live the life of a mortal, having to part with his wife, and eventually having to leave his children behind in Middle Earth.
