it's cliché to say that they will never understand us but the truth is, they won't. not until they cry with the covers around their legs at 2am; not until they know what it feels like to miss somebody you've never met; not until they want someone so much that all they need to feel at peace is that person next to them in safe somber. but for now, a text message saying 'i love you', is more than enough.
it's been two years, but i wouldn't swap it for anything.
