I did this for a school project after reading Catcher in the Rye for the second time. I enjoyed it even more this time around. I was assigned to make a playlist of ten or more songs that Holden might have related to/enjoyed. This is based upon the lyrics of these songs, not the way they sound together.

Oh, god! Thank you very much! I began compiling a list of songs I thought would go with this playlist and I immediately thought of The Smiths.

god, this perfect. if there's one band that reminds me of holden the most it's the smiths, so great job on that. it's so weird - this morning i woke and the first thing i did was sing trojans by atlas genus - it totally reminds me of holden. this was wonderful! ♥︎
