You could tell it from the sadness that lurked in her eyes that she had been engufled in darkness too many times. Shattered. Broken. Bleeding. Left in terrible pain with scarred skin, stinking wounds. Yet, she could sit under the moon and feel each and every star, as if she was one of them. Leaving me in awe of her and making me realise that her heart was a flower that could bloom beautifully in darkness, even without light.
