Before the invention of the Internet and the use of CDs, and MP3s, mixtapes were a popular gift to friends or familly members to show them their music tastes and share an intimate part to themselves.

As a group of North's students get ready to go to France next week, I've made a French "chansons" mixtape to send them on their voyage Francais!

The mix includes a few popular French ye-ye singers, and a few French classical composers mostly hailing from France in the late 60s.
