Notes
The bass saxophone enjoyed some measure of popularity in jazz combos and dance bands between World War I and World War II, primarily providing bass lines, although players occasionally took melodic solos. The bass sax unfortunately fell out of favor as standard jazz band instrumentation by the late 20s. Bass sax great Adrian Rollini switched to vibraphone to maintain his place in the music business. It was great while it lasted! Enjoy this taste of bass sax from the 20s through modern times!

Neat sound. Bass sax great Adrian Rollini switched to women and was never heard again.

@delia.wilson.69 Yes, I can relate! :-) I do as well... It gets me through long work days! I'm so glad you enjoy it! Please listen to my other mixes - I have plenty of 1920s mixes here! Cheers!
