Ferdinand Rudolph von Grofé came by his extensive musical interests naturally through four generations of classical musicians. His father sang mainly light opera, His mother was a professional cellist and taught Ferde to play violin and piano. He composed and arranged for Gerschwin, Paul Whiteman, and many others. Enjoy this collection of Grofe compositions, arrangements, and some favorite songs he was known for playing. Includes also some tunes by his colleagues in the 20s.
