Mike Murray is an independent artist, composer and instrumental producer from Montclair, New Jersey. Mike blends Smooth Jazz and Chill-Out together - self-describing his musical genre as "Chazz" but fans of Bob James/Fourplay, Paul Hardcastle, Alex Bugnon and Hiroshima will feel right at home with Mike's expanding repertoire and unique musical style. Mike began his musical journey in the late 70's during high school largely as a percussionist. Musical influences are eclectic and include all of the aforementioned artists but some of Mike’s early on influences include Mandrill, Earth Wind & Fire, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Herbie Hancock,, Allman Brothers Band, and the entire 70’s/80’s R&B portfolio. http://www.mikemurraymusic.com/home ♬
