A few internet friends recommended this film like a year ago and I didn't know it was on Netflix until last month. I finally sat down and watched it today and it's officially my favorite queer movie. Everything about it is adorable and the soundtrack is amazing! I hate pop country with a burning passion, but this pre-2000s classic country holds a special place in my heart since my dad used to play country music all the time on the radio when I was young.
