Image R. Bolton is a charismatic LA native, local to nowhere and everywhere in Los Angeles, CA. From a young age he has had a strong capacity for creating art and design. In his teenage years he began getting involved with Raytheon, JPL, and Northrop Grumman through King/Drew's Medical Magnet Robotics Club, quickly learning the to roll of machinist, installing a sense of craftsmanship. During his adolescent years he frequented surf and skate shops all throughout Southern California. He often cites his early influences from also visiting various art galleries in Culver City and the Downtown Arts District, as well as traveling to Europe and viewing the many older art deco styles. With these environments as his teacher, he developed his own style of urban typography, craftsmanship, graphic design, various painting styles, as well as using any upcycled/reclaimed materials to create art.
