It's not ONLY for Raves

Notes

It's not that i don't like rave culture, no, i even love it because of how it's all about love, peace, unity and respect. There's this thing that just got me very sad and tired sometimes, it is when people that dont really know electronic music call us (electronic music fans) 'party people'. They think that we love it only because of how danceable electronic music is. But it really is more than that, even not all electronic music is 'danceable'. With this short playlist i wanted to show that electronic music is not always for parties and raves. Electronic music is just like any other music in general, it expresses feelings, it shows beauty, it affects emotions and it shares wonders. Songs from Flying Lotus, Culprate, Bonobo and more.

I was introduced to electronic music by my Dutch bestfren...well...in the realm of electronic music you can even 'feel sadness and irony' with energetic spirit hahahahahahaha

Thank goodness for your statement. I can't say I love Edm without a facial expression of "she's a rave head" lol especially considering my age. Yeah, trance and everything in between is great, so as deep house and many other sub-genres. Awesome playlist!

Dance music is a deep culture, with a rich history. I understand what you were trying to say, dance music extends way beyond the dancefloor, beyond the whole club scene. Me an best friend used to go out in the deep country parts of Indiana, with cows, and cowgirls, smoke, and play Lego - Block 2, 24/7. Shout out to my boy Ralph Rodriguez, aka Lego, who lost his best friend and his hand. We must restore him, we can rebuild him, stronger, better, faster. House Nation!
