Korean/Asian themed historical fantasy. Former orphan who has grown up within her country's royal family and government is attempting to wrench political power away from colonial sympathizers in her government. She does this in honor of her exiled adoptive mother whom she will never see again. By the end of the story she has been elected High Queen by the four hereditary kings/queens of the country even though she doesn't want the throne.
