I'm Jenny from the beautiful city of Exeter in Devon, which is a county in the south west of the United Kingdom.

I'm a classically trained singer, and also play a handful of musical instruments, including the piano and the acoustic guitar, to a decent standard.

I've got a pretty wide range of musical tastes that ranges from mainstream modern pop to classic jazz and soul. I would say that the music of Miley Cyrus is my guilty pleasure, but I don't feel at all guilty about it, so does that just make it a pleasure?

I've been in and around the music industry throughout my life, although I think will mostly be in my past now. I've performed a few live gigs in my time, but at no particularly glamorous venues; I've certainly never headlined Glastonbury. Not yet anyway! Maybe if I keep the dream alive, who knows what will happen :)

My reason for joining 8tracks is to listen to awesome playlists people have created to help me relax and focus when I'm going about my daily business. Otherwise, I tend to get a bit distracted, which can be a problem from time to time.

I'll surely create some of my own playlists that will deviate wildly in genre from song to song!
