So the time has come- it's been a huge year for EDM and every month over 2013 I compiled my favourite tracks that have really stood and featured them in Electronic Essentials, here on 8tracks.
So, I've mixed a selection of the best of the best from 2013: the Essentials Yearmix, featuring over 50 tracks in 80 minutes (The tracklist is in the comments!) Thanks for the support through 2013, I'm sure there's a lot more music to enjoy coming in 2014!

thanks! and I just regularly check different sites for new music and follow the activity of lots of producers- YouTube channels like Spinnin' Records are great for hearing new music along with all the other labels channels or SoundCloud pages. I check Beatport as well and generally just immerse myself in music, that way you hear more tracks and can pick the best new music for your sets! :)

ah okay, well yeah it's great for getting to grips with it, try to pick up a basic controller instead of just downloading something like Virtual DJ as that won't help you much! if you need any other suggestions my contact details are on my profile!! :)

thanks! and I use MixVibes with, to be honest, a pretty poor Ion controller. it's what I've learned on, but I really need to upgrade soon as the software/controller sometimes has a mind of it's own haha!
