Twenty-two tracks including music by Bella Hardy, Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer, and David Olney about various kinds of battles. Some are real ones fought on battlefields in wartime and others are internal ‘battles’ of relationships. The mix is primarily country-folk in style with a little bit of soft rock, blues-rock, and English/Scots-Irish tunes thrown in. A couple of the songs feature the bagpipes, Scotland’s “instrument of war.”
