Notes
Jazz-Funk was popular for a short period of time in the 70's. It's success was primarily localized to the United States and England, especially in the film scoring industry. It featured a significant shift in traditional jazz song writing, focusing on funky styled grooves and its utilization of electro-mechanical and synthesized instruments. Though it didn't last long, it had a profound influence on modern electronic retro/revival genres. This mix runs about 40 minutes.

If this doesn't make you give a little soul to your step, then you've got no soul to give.
Very nice mix.

If Roy Ayers and Donald Byrd would have Soulive as a nanny for their illegitimate child, this mix is what he would sound like. Funk all over the place! Thanks for creating & sharing
