The Temple & the Serpant

Notes

Skin like liquid emerald, hair a tangle of slithering serpents, each with their own whispering hiss: no blood shines on this monster's lips, but in the torch-light they still look ruby-red.

Part of a series of gendermixed myths, this time featuring a take on the Medusa myth, of a brave temple maiden sent as sacrifice to a forbidden temple, only to find her cursed true love instead. Tracks that whisper of sliding scales, murmuring nights, and whispers in the dark.

Hello, there! I was wondering, where do you find all of the songs on each of your playlists? Do you find them from iTunes, YouTube, Pandora radio, or somewhere else? Have a wonderful day/night!

@IceQueenFireWarrior Hey there! I used to have a service called Freegal through my local library, which would give me free downloads per week, with a lot of instrumental stuff licensed for download. Unfortunately my library discontinued that, which means I'm back to my old devices: most of my music I try through the library first, and then buy if I like it. I'm just a geek for soundtracks so I have a lot of artists I follow whenever they put a new movie out. Hoping to have a new one out with a dragon/gold theme soon though! Thanks for asking!

YES! New playlist! And with music from the new Dark Parables [and Bioshock Infinite! I'm screaming!]! I loved the snake charmer theme/feel running through this, gave the whole story an element of exotic mystery. And let's be real, how much more exotic and mysterious can you get than a forbiddingly beautiful, green snake lady? Another excellent mix that was well worth the wait!

@AquaHibiscus Thanks! This one took so long because I used to get new, weird music through my library with Freegal every week, but since my library discontinued that service I've had a lot less avenues for finding new instrumentals :( But YES the new Dark Parables rocked my world
