Easy Listening, also known as Orchestral Pop and MOR, was a music format that was popular from the 50s through the early 70s. For those of us who grew up in the 60s, this was the music that our parents liked. And we HATED it. But all these years later I think it's nostalgic fun to listen to these songs. I get the urge at least once every few years. :)

I love this playlist. I listen to it at least once every week. Brings back lots of memories of travelling around with my parents in the car, listening to their tunes on the radio, back in the late 60's and early 70's. This music gets short shrift in todays music scene but I have to say that they just don't right such wonderful tunes and melodies anymore.
