I AM WHAT I AM - NO APOLOGIES - NO EXCUSES !

How do you describe yourself without sounding like you are blowing your own horn? I guess honesty is the best policy.
I am an ex-truck driver. I did that for 31 years. After being laid off I started working with the leading financial services in North America. To be quite honest, I am very happy about loosing my driving job. I have never been happier.
I am an extra large individual, I guess from sitting behind the wheel for all those years, but I am trying to do something about that. Exercise and proper eating are not my usual way of life, but I plan on being around for a long time to come, so I guess I better get used to them.
I enjoy quiet nights at home watching tv, movies, listening to music,reading or catching up on work. On the other side of the coin, I also enjoy spending time with my friends. Whether it is floating around the lake on my friends pontoon boat or going to the casino to test lady luck or just playing cards I am in my element because I am with people I care about.
My family is very important to me. I was estranged from them for over (expletive) years and I'm trying to make up for lost time.I try to do as much with them as I can.
I am also a good Christian man. I have recently come back to the Catholic Church after being away for about 37 years. I love being back . It is as if a great weight has been lifted from me.
Honesty, compassion, the ability to listen are some of my better attributes. I am fun loving, caring, easy to get along with and with the right person totally committed to them.
