"don't you ever say that again, do you hear me?" blake snapped, stepping toward him. jack just shook his head, looking to the ground as his eyes filled with tears. "i care about you, jack. i have cared about you since i was old enough to smile. you better get used to that"

jack sniffed, letting out a small sob before wiping his eyes quickly and nodding. blake cared about him. someone in his life was actually going to stick around.

blake looked toward the ceiling briefly, swallowing the lump in his throat, "just because the other people in your life have left you, doesn't mean i will. i am here now and i am not going anywhere and that is all that matters"
