I wanted to get away from making seasonal mixes, so I made this 12 disk volume by assigning a crazy theme to each mix with no relation between them. The ideas came from wanting to build mixes around certain sounds that stood out or theme ideas (like a mixtape theme-challenge). This volume runs from #225-236 in my 8tracks archive.

This mix's theme was simply 'Smile!' I couldn't get The Who's 'I Can See' out of my head or the image of driving a roadtrip on a sunny warm day with the top down laughing at the top of my lungs with a friend, so this is a soundtrack for that image in my head :)
