I wanted to get away from making seasonal mixes, so I made this 12 disk volume by assigning a crazy theme to each mix with no relation between them. The ideas came from wanting to build mixes around certain sounds that stood out or theme ideas (like a mixtape theme-challenge). This volume runs from #225-236 in my 8tracks archive.

I wanted to create a soundtrack to a story in some imaginary world I could create while listening: Something like Tron meets Drive. I think I nailed it. Daft Punk's Tron track being the opener is kind of on the nose, but the mix paints a beautiful story if you're willing to listen.
