After a months-long cancer battle, my best friend & pup Honey passed away in 2014. I'd started mixing this volume just before her diagnosis. It took years until I picked up again. This is an end of Spring through end of Summer mix I'd started in late 2013 and finished in 2016 It runs from # 261-272 in my 8tracks archive.

A great selection of indie hip hop with undergrounds beats and a bit of neo-soul thrown in, with all the tracks seeming to have a distinct end of the summer sound to them (I think its the soul and funk influences). A lot of these were hidden gems in 2011-2014's SXSW free releases. Enjoy.
