I am absolutely impressed with the open track sung by Cody Jinks...why? This country music artist to my knowledge is the only one that has ever taken Pink Floyd's original classic rock song “wish you were here” released in 1974 by Columbia Records and married it flawlessly to a genuine country mixture. Perhaps its no strange wonder Cody pulled that track out of his past given he actually played in a metal band before diving into country songwriting. The song has always been infectiously magnetic as its story-line brings a lingering tingle to the heart in whatever genre its labeled under. Enjoy the music; thank you for coming by.
