I think it's safe to say that when the first trailer for Dark Souls 3's The Ringed City was released, most of us were most interested in finding out who the slumbering woman was. The visual was striking and along with the half-cracked egg, questions ran rampant. We later discovered that this mysterious figure is Filianore, the youngest daughter of Gwyn, guards a most dire secret.

I found it fascinating traversing the many pathways within The Ringed City and reading how a church was created around this character. The function of the church, the corruption in it and its loose ties to The Sable Church of Londor.
