Notes
Music isn't what it used to be, I am right or am I right? Let's travel back in time with these selected songs from artists and bands that forever changed music history, like The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, and Janis Joplin, just to name a few. Relax, breathe, and just enjoy yourself...

This reminds me of stuff my Dad used to listen to when I was little! I too, grew up with these guys, particularly Jimi Hendrix. Thank you!

Thanks for this. I've always wanted to dig into older music like this, because older music is something brand new to me. I remember the 1st time hearing Time by Pink Floyd...I closed my eyes and felt myself drifting away into it's brutally honest meaning and soothing sound. I've never really liked what's on the radio nowadays...it's just meaningless garbage or overly polished music. I miss the rawness of music.

Most welcome. I grew up with this kind of music, The Doors being the first band I ever discovered. Pink Floyd is actually my most favorite band, Led Zeppelin being second. My favorite Floyd songs are See Emily Play, Echoes, Granchester Meadows, Julia Dream, Candy and a Currant Bun; I mostly love their music when they were under Syd's leadership. I recently got Pipers at the Gates of Dawn on vinyl (kind of rare to find and very expensive to buy) but it's worth it knowing that it's my favorite Floyd album. I really do not understand the music industry today. Everything is auto-tuned and people who don't have talent are paid millions to make garbage music (Katy Perry, Ke$ha, etc) but there's tons of people out there with pure and raw talent that are trying to get their music out there when they even play instruments. Ridiculously ridiculous isn't?

You're right. Ridiculously ridiculous.
The Piper at the Gates of Dawn is one of my favourite albums too.
Have a good day.
