2011 was a strange and contradictory year. There were retrofuturistic tales of sex and death, a whole army of young rapid-firing rapper chicks, a raven and a botoxed lady that gave new meaning to the American female and possibly the best Ministry cover a band will ever make, all under the same universe, creating possibly one of the richest, most post-modern years in music ever.
